5 Ways to Send Personal Information Safely
1. For those that live nearby our office, you are always welcome during business hours to drop by and leave any completed documents with us. We are open from 9 - 5 with a lunch hour between 12:00 and 1:00 P.M. We always have someone in the office to make sure your documents are safe and in our hands. We only ask that you let us know if you are dropping off any documents so that we can expect you.
2. You can also simply send it through the mail. We recommend using a courier service that provides a tracking number to ensure you can keep track of your information, like UPS or Fed Ex.
3. You may also fax us your documents using our office fax number 954-429-0739. This will send it straight to our office.
4. Another method is by replying to our emails. Our email system is encrypted, which ensures that important information we send to you is secure. If you need to send us anything, replying to an email is one way to do it safely. Do NOT create your own email and send it to us with personal information in it. While our email system is required to be encrypted, any email you send to us outside of the reply chain is not encrypted. By replying to any email from our domain (@bladefinancialservices.com), the encryption remains in place, ensuring that your communication stays secure.
5. The final method is by utilizing other services to ensure that information is sent and received securely. We use two main services for transferring documents safely. The first is Docusign. This system allows us to send you paperwork that can be filled out, signed, and sent back to us electronically. When we utilize this tool, we will let you know that we sent it via Docusign. It will appear in your email as Sharron, Roxanne, or Matthew “via Docusign” and will give you the ability to go in and fill out the document. It will also ask for a passcode that we will provide you. The other program we use is eMoney. It allows you to upload documents from your computer securely to us. This program requires an invite, so if you are not currently signed up for eMoney and would like to use it, please let us know. We will invite you and send you instructions on making an account.
